We started
MODERN HOUSE NUMBERS in 2008 during the renovation of our 1950's
home in Tucson, Arizona. At the end of our project we unexpectedly realized
that high quality modern home numbers were un-affordable. After a long search
we decided to use our design expertise to explore making custom house numbers.
Our goal was to create a reasonably priced, sustainable, and well-crafted
product. Through trial & error we succeeded and proudly installed our new
creation. Upon installation we noticed our mailbox and curb numbers did not
match our modern house numbers so we updated them as well, in turn creating
a custom house number package.
After installation, we suddenly received a steady stream of curious inquires about the source of the stylish numbers. To their surprise we informed them of our story and offered to make numbers for their homes. Needless to say, a few here and there suddenly turned into a thriving production for modern dwellers across the country.
